A report by Celtic FC can be found here. Season 2022- Dear all GSFA League Playoff Programme The League Playoff programme can be found here. All games must be completed by the last week of this term as the finals are immediately after Easter...No extensions GSFA Senior Girls Final Squad Selection Many thanks once again for your continued support in arranging for the girls to attend the very final trial at Scotstoun. Again the standard was exceptionally high and made selecting a final team very very difficult. We did congratulate them for their efforts and the way they conducted themselves throughout the whole process but please repeat this to them and pass on to other school staff and parents. The girls below have been selected for the upcoming Inter- We understand that some girls will be disappointed but we urge all of them to return next year. We will be back in touch in early 2023 with fixture details. |

Synthetic pitches Synthetic pitch usage has been very good; however, these bookings ceased on the 24th of November. Kirsten Noon maybe able to help. Phone 0141 287 3626. Bookings are now being taken for January 2023. I would like to thank all those schools that have diligently played their games on time. Can I remind all schools that last minute call offs are frowned upon. They cost home teams money, are unfair on referees that have made arrangements and, in some instances, mean that Synthetic Pitches are not used and cost Kirsten Noon and her Education Department money. If a school calls of a second time, they will forfeit the points. Because of our short League/Cup Window after Christmas, postponements within 3 days of an organised game will result in points being forfeited. Unusual and unforeseen circumstances will be taken into consideration. Would all GSFA representatives please check that their affiliations have been paid or are at least in transit. Some schools are still not forwarding their invoices when raising a PURCHASE ORDER (PO). This only delays Payment. Once again, thanks to all schools for their participation this season. Team Lines 2022- If you are using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer to access the site you may find the Word file below is not opening properly. To download right click the icon and select Save target as … then open from your documents folder where you saved it. Reminder that both schools should email results after every match. Please do not save up your scores and send them as a batch, as this is time consuming to administer. Please let me know if their are any anomalies, mistakes or otherwise in any of these attachments. Please be aware that no score above 9 is ever entered. Call offs: A reminder that the directive from GSFA update #1 will be adhered to and 2 unjustified call offs will mean the forfeit of a game and points will be awarded to the other team. Referees: Please call our referee convenor, Stewart McLachlan, 0141 637 8493, in good time for your refereeing requirements. Please note that only schoolboy referees that have passed or are taking the referees' course should officiate at games. Even then they should be restricted to S1 and S2 games and be properly attired in a track suit; no school uniforms please. Bus Companies: If any school uses a bus company on a regular basis for any school activities, please let me know the Company name and contact number.
